In the area of around 30 hectares, complete technical infrastructure is in place to ensure stable development and the possibility to carry out complex production processes, meeting meticulous environmental protection requirements. The infrastructure comprises own boiler plant, biological and mechanical sewage treatment plant, and superior quality drinking water intake.
Our objective is constant modernization of production processes. The production facilities operated in our plant, intended for production of concentrated fruit and vegetable juice and separation of fruit flavours, are based on the top quality solutions of remarkable worldwide manufacturers of such machinery, such as Swiss and German Bucher, Unipektin, Filtrox, Belmer.
Our investments, however, are not only limited to the technical infrastructure. We are also mastering our management methods. In 2003, the ISO:9001 quality management system and the HACCP system for ensuring health safety of food were implemented. Production halls, back-up facilities, office and laboratory facilities, are housed in spacious interiors of modern design, with modern equipment, meeting all hygiene and sanitary requirements.
The company is proud of modern and well-equipped, microbiological physical and chemical laboratory, which monitors and evidences the entire production process, from quality acceptance of raw materials, assessment of parameters in individual production stages, to storage and shipment of the finished products.
At present, Expol Spółka. z o.o. is at the stage of broad investment in Dwikozy Plant, involving the infrastructure, replacement and extension of the machinery. Such activities are aimed at increasing production capabilities and matching the product quality to the worldwide market demand.
On completion of the investment, in the 2006 season, the overall production in our plants will exceed 15 thousand tons of concentrates, fruit and vegetable flavours, and the annual purchase of raw materials, mainly apples, will reach above 120 thousand tons. The Dwikozy Plant will become one of the most modern plants in Europe.
We take care of the development of fruit farms in the region. We cooperate on regular basis with over 600 suppliers, securing their sales of a considerable part of fruit and vegetable they produce.
The main concentrate flavours are: apple, blackcurrant and redcurrant, cherry, strawberry, raspberry, chokeberry, beet and elder. The extension of Dwikozy Plant will expand our purchase and export capabilities of frozen fruits.
The aromatic fruits and vegetables grown in unpolluted areas, combined with modern production facilities, expertise and commitment of our staff, are the guarantee of superior quality products and economic success of the enterprise.
